Let me help you relocate to the Bay Area
When moving to a new city, you may have an overwhelming amount of things on your mind: New job, new school, new church, new routines, and of course, finding a new place for your family to call "home." I understand this, and I am an expert in relocation. I have a long history of finding buyers the right home by going through a very specific checklist to help you efficiently narrow your options.
When relocating, you probably won't have the luxury of looking at every conceivable area listing. At best, you might get see a couple dozen, so whittle down that list first thing with this advice:
- Before coming into town, write your needs into one list. Then list the things you simply want in another. When a home comes up short on your must-haves, it's one less house to look at.
- Have a set price range. This could be based on loan pre-approval or a reasonable estimate of how much you'll get from selling your present home.
- What length of a commute are you willing to make each day to your job and other interests? Traffic in the Silicon Valley area could be different than what you're currently experiencing, so tell me your limits regarding drive-time, and I'll locate homes within that radius.
Before we meet in person, I could send you my picks for listings we should see. Or if you've done your own research already, let me know what you've found. While seeing listing photos on the web is helpful, there's nothing like walking through homes in person. I can arrange any necessary appointments with other Realtors or homeowners and map a route. If we work efficiently, we could see 8 or 10 homes in a single day.
My objective is to make sure that by the time you leave town, you can be relieved to know you're on the right track to finding the best home for your family. Call me today at 408-335-1425 to start your home search.
